I love photography.  To me, it is an art form that is expression.  It is beauty.  It is art.

But it is also moments, seeing what is beautiful, what is already there and capturing it.  It is practicing to see.

This year, I have decided to offer a new feature to my business.

Madison has so much to offer – the weather, the many events around town, the beautiful lakes and beaches, farms, festivals, etc.  I want to proudly feature what makes our city strong – our families and our events.

That’s why, several times this summer I will feature a deal.  For you.  For my love of photography. For the city of Madison.

It will be a full hour session for a great time.  For a reduced rate.  A super reduced rate.

Because I understand what it’s like to want pictures.

I understand what it’s like to be a parent enjoying so many beautiful moments with your children.

And I’m an artist.  I love photography and I love creating more. I would like to explore these moments with my camera.

I will announce these events about a week before they occur on my facebook Fitzgerald Photography page only.  And I will be taking at most two families per event.  So when you hear about it – pounce!

These summer fun session will be for $30 (a $150 value) for a one hour session.  This is because I want to exercise my camera with you, learn more families, share my art with you.

I will still offer my usual standard session and other packages, but there are a few reasons I am offering this session.

1. I know what it’s like to want pictures, thinking this is not the right time… I want to lose weight, I want to have the right clothes, I want …. but there is never a right time.  Your children grow.  The moments fade.  The puffy cheeks that you love so much on your toddler will change.  This is now.
2. You don’t have the money.  I know, photography is expensive.  I also know what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck in this economy.  These sessions allow you to get these beautiful photos of your family and your children.  Without the huge cost.
3. Experience.  Simply put.  I want to restructure what I am doing with what you are doing in these photography sessions. This is your experience.  As an artist in this photography business, I want to help you remember.  It is your moment.  It is you teaching your child how to ride a bicycle, you showing your baby what sand is like for the first time,  and your five year old smearing their face with warm, hand picked strawberries.  I want to be there, in the background, getting all of these moments for you.
